Dr. Lou Sarrosa loves dentistry. "I am a big fan of Sciences and Art! Dentistry is the perfect combination of both. When I was a child my dentist had a great influence on me; he gave me the idea of becoming a dentist."
Dr. Lou Sarrosa was born in the Philippines, but moved to Canada at a very early age. After her graduation with a Bachelor degree of Chemistry from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada, she continued her education at the School of Dental Medicine at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Before Dr. Sarrosa started working at a private practice in Cottonwood, Arizona, she graduated from the AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) Residency program through the Lutheran Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. In the beginning of 2008, Desert Canyon Dentistry, a cosmetic and general dentistry practice, located just behind the Aztec Park in Scottsdale, AZ became her new home. "My golden rule is to treat patients the way I like to be treated, the same way I treat my family and friends: with respect, integrity and kindness."
Dr. Lou Sarrosa is a member of The American Dental Association (ADA), Arizona Dental Association (AZDA) and Central Arizona Dental Society (CADS).
Dedicated to providing the best quality dentistry, Dr. Sarrosa continues to educate herself on a regular basis. She enjoys spending time with her friends and newly rescued dog, Jet. She takes pleasure in hiking, skiing and has a great passion for travel and experiencing the cuisine of various cultures.
